Step-up SIP calculator
A step-up SIP increases the monthly installment once a year, often in line with income. This page starts with your first monthly amount, compounds it monthly at the stated annual return, and raises the installment by the step-up percent after every 12 months. It is an illustration, not a scheme recommendation.
Formula
Each month: value = (value + current SIP) × (1 + annual/12). After every 12th month the SIP amount is multiplied by (1 + step-up). Invested is the sum of the monthly amounts actually applied.
Questions
What if the step-up is zero?
The path matches a plain SIP at the same start amount, rate and tenure, aside from rounding.
Can the installment fall?
Not in this calculator. Enter a positive step-up percent, or use the plain SIP page.
